TDH Indigo high-res cover debut! (Tedious, tedious, tedious.)
Step one: Design original mandala in Adobe Illustrator.
Step two: Print out design at kinko’s, and irritate the women of your local craft store to find out a good way to transfer the image to your linoleum block.
Step three: After transfer is made…spend approximately 10 to 15 hours straight with Xacto knife…slowly and tediously carving your design out. (Make sure you work late in the evening so that all chances of sleep are lost…helps with the outcome.)
Step four: Look at what you did the following day…”Holy Crap, that’s a lot of carving!”
Step five: Make some prints…find one that you’re happy with…and scan that puppy up (after it dries).
Step six: Boom! Indigo…
-Cameron
(Side note…I maaay start selling a limited run of these prints on my webstore and on the Westcoast leg of TDH tour…so keep your eyes pealed for that.)
